“Behind the beauty of the moon is the Moonmaker”- Rumi

This 6×6 watercolor painting is part of my “Whispered Prayers” series and was inspired by this quote by the poet Rumi.

It is a small but powerful, one of a kind, abstract painting with dark blues and greens offset with touches of gold leaf. at the bottom is the handwritten quote. A beautiful little jewel of a piece, I’ve allowed the deckled edges of the heavy cold press paper to be seen. The entire painting is mounted on a sturdy wooden frame so that you can immediately hang it and adorn your personal living space.
