This one of a kind painting is 6x6, with jewel-like colors and painted pieces of watercolor paper integrated into the painting. I also used colored bits of salt, made by allowing them to absorb blue watercolor, and tiny flecks of gold leaf. The deckled edge of the heavy cold press watercolor paper is exposed and the painting is mounted on a sturdy wooden frame so that it is ready to hang.

Part of my “ Whispered Prayers” Series, this piece was created with the prayer that it ends up in the hands of the person who will be inspired by it. The quote at the bottom is from the song “Oceans” - “ The waves and wind still know his name.”
